"Goddess of mask", clay doll of national treasure has been excavated. The remain of villages in early middle-Jomon era - early late-Jomon era (about 5,000-4,000 years ago). In Aug 2000, large mask clay doll "mask of goddess" was excavated, about 35 cm high, and with its face inverte-triangular, with its characteristics being the meticulous patterns engraved on its trunk and clealy stamped femal organs to be designated as a national treasure in Aug 2-14, as one of the most stable figures nationally.
