Climbing to Musho (bell of fog) tower from Kirigamine nature protection center
You can walk up to Musho tower from Kirigamine nature protection center for 30 minutes by roundtrip. In Kirigamine nature protection center, you can learn the nature and history of Mt. Kirigamine. Guided walk is implemented from 11:00AM on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays, too. In Jul and Aug, held every day except for Wednesdays (closed). Fee: \100 (for insurance).

Mt. Kirigamine, short driving in the sunset
Recommended for a fine day from late afternoon to sunset. Stop your car in Yashima wetland and take a relaxing walk in it first. Walking slowly around Yahima wetland, 3.7km, will take about one and half hour. Also join guided walk by Yashima visitor center. When the sun begins to set, go toward Kurumayama. Watching Yashima wetland below, you can enjoy the sun setting toward North alpine. After the sun has set, go to Fujimidai, where you can watch the color of the sky full of changes after sunset and the night view of Suwa. If the air is clear, you may also be able to see Mt. Fuji surrounded by Mt. Yatsugatake and South alpine.
