Kikkoike (pond of turtle’s back)
A peculiar pond with the turtle's-back-like clay structure. One of the lakes / mires seen here and there in Mt. Kitayatsugatake, named for the turtle's-back-like pattern seen in the bottom. Increase / decrease of water volatile, sometimes rendering it dried up. With guiding placards.
