Irufu, the house for pictures fro children
The various pictures, block prints, and other published art works of such as drawer from Okaya-shi, Takeo Tkaei have been exhibited. "Irufu" is the reverse of "Furui (old)", meaning new. "The world of pictures for children" has been established aimed at the creation of "pictures that touch upon the heart of children". On the first floor "Harappa" (field) you can read about 2,000 picture books for free; on the second floor, his works are exhibited or events are often planned to be held. It contains and all the time exhibits the most works of the author of "Where the wild things are, Maurice Sendak, in Japan.
